 Preparations 

Place the selections 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel1', 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel2', 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel3' and 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel4' in the Selections folder to your PSP program.

Double-click on the Preset 'cas_Halloween2015_Glass' and 'cas_Halloween2015_PerspectiveShadow' in the material folder and they are automatically imported into the Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact folder.

       If you use other colors, feel free to change Blend Mode and Opacity for a better result.

 

  
 

1.   Set the foregroundcolor to #ffffff (white) and backgroundcolor to #170301

 

       Change foregroundcolor to Gradient, Foreground-Background:

 

      

 

       Open a New Transparent Image 900 x 500 pixels, Raster 1.

 

       Flood Fill with the gradient.

 

 

2.   Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds:

 

      

       Color #ffffff (white)

 

      

3.   Effects - Reflection Effects - Feedback:

 

      

 

 

4.   Effects - Plugins - Simple - Top Left Mirror.

 

5.   Activate Selection Tool, push Custom Selection :

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

 

6.   Effects - Plugins - dsb flux - Spider Web:

 

      

 

 

7.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Resize 72%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

       Activate the bottom layer, Raster 1.

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

 

8.   Activate the top layer, Copy of Raster 1.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Change the foregroundscolor to #7e614c

 

       Flood Fill the layer with the foregroundcolor.

 

 

9.   Open Mask '20 20' and minimize it.

 

       On your image, Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find '20 20':

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

 

10. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk.

 

       Find 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel1':

 

      

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

       Your image should look like this now:

 

      

 

 

11. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 3.

       Activate the Selection Tool, push Custom Selection :

 

      

 

       Flood Fill the layer with the foregroundcolor

 

 

12. Selections - Modify - Contract 1 pixel.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Flood Fill with the backgroundcolor

 

       Selections - Modify - Contract 10 pixels.

 

       Flood Fill with the foregroundcolor

 

       Selections - Modify - Contract 1 pixel.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

 

13. Activate the layer Copy of Raster 1.

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

 

14. Activate the layer above, Group - Raster 2.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

 

15. Activate the bottom layer, Raster 1.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 2 pixels.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 4.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the backgroundcolor

 

       Layers - Arrange - Move Down.

 

 

16. Keep the selection on.

 

       Open the tube 'sassyillusions_creepymountain'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 5.

 

       On your image, Edit Paste into Selection.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Screen and Opacity to 92.

 

 

17. Activate the top layer, Raster 3.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel2'.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor

 

 

18. Selections - Modify - Contract 1 pixel.

 

       Layers - New Raster layer, Raster 7.

 

       Flood Fill with the backgroundcolor

 

 

19. Effects - Texture Effects - Mosaic - Glass:

 

      

 

 

20. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass.

 

       Under Settings - User Settings choose 'cas_Halloween2015_Glass':

 

      

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

21. Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000 (black)

 

 

22. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Mirror Horizontal (in earlier PSP versions Image - Mirror).

 

 

23. Change the foregroundcolor to #000000 (black)

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selections - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel3'.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 7.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

24. Change the foregroundcolor to #ab592d

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selections - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_Halloween2015_Sel4'.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 8.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor.

 

 

25. Effects - Texture Effects - Mosaic - Glass, with the same settings as in section 19.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass, with the same settings as in section 20.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

26. Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:

 

      

 

 

27. Open the Image 'Spiders'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 9.

 

 

28. Open the tube 'Anna Ignatieva-Halloween_byWildRose'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 10.

 

       Image - Mirror Horizontal.

 

       Image - Resize 80%, uncheck All Layers.

 

29. Activate Pick Tool and place it like this:

 

      

 

 

30. Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:

 

      

 

       If you use another tube, you can change the settings or skip this section.

 

 

31. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000 (black)

 

 

32. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow.

 

       Under Settings - User Settings choose 'cas_Halloween2015_PerspectiveShadow':

 

      

 

 

33. Image - Add Borders:

 

      

       Color #ab592d

 

       Image - Add Borders, 5 pixels, color #170301

 

       Image - Add Borders, 15 pixels, color #ab592d

 

 

34. Activate Magic Wand with these settings:

 

      

 

       Select the outer frame.

 

       Effects - Texture Effects - Mosaic - Glass:

 

      

 

 

35. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass with the same settings as in section 20.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:

 

      

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Image - Add Borders, 1 pixel, color #170301

 

      

36. Resize your image, if you want it smaller.

 
       Sign the image or place your watermark on it and save as JPG.
